Mission
The mission of I Help My School is to support the improvement of education with and for the benefit of the community and all stake holders.
The site is starting with support for Substitute Teachers who account for one to two years of a child’s education in a K-12 program. By improving the quality of substitute teaching we can improve the quality of more than 10 per cent of a child’s education without increasing the length of the school day or the school year.
In order to professionalize this process Substitute Teachers need to work in a more collaborative way with Teachers, Administrators, School Personnel and Parents. This will also require support from elected officials, Unions, Community Organizations, and Business Organizations.
